USB Driver Issues

If you have problems, please try the following:

  2. Extract the downloaded zip file.
  3. While the phone is still plugged in, open USBDeview and sort by manufacturer.
  4. Find all the HTC drivers and delete them.
  5. Unplug the phone from the USB cable and plug it back in.
  6. The correct drivers should either install automatically or prompt you to install a driver.

Install drivers

  1. Download the latest drivers from here.
  2. Unzip usb_driver.zip and specify the extracted location in the install driver dialog.

Confirm drivers

  1. Run the Internet Sharer Wizard or
  2. Go to Devices (Device Manager for older versions of Windows) then click on the "Android Phone".
  3. Click on the Hardware tab, and check the list of drivers for ADB Interface under Type.
