A new book reader application has been developed which makes porting books to Android devices really simple. As a proof of concept, the fantastic books, "Bang!" and "It's Alive" by James Lu Dunbar has been made available on the Android market.

The Universe Verse is a series of three rhyming comic books which explain the most important scientific theories known to humankind!

JPC x86 Emulator for Android Released

JPC has been ported to Android. JPC is a pure Java emulation of an x86 PC hardware in software.

Bundled in this free Android App is FreeDOS (Like MS-DOS) and a selection of shareware games on a virtual drive C:/

This emulator is extremely demanding and will only run on modern devices. Keyboard and mouse input is very basic and is still in development.

This is intended for demonstration use only, although the bundled games run, they are not playable.

JADS Digital Signage for Android now supports all Android devices from version 1.5 (cupcake) onwards.

This includes all resolutions and form factors. New support for Google TV, People of Lava is incorporated.

Web-based user interface for viewing queued music and uploading new tracks.

Link multiple hubs and synchronize music all over the house.

Internally JADS Remote Music Hub uses Web Traffic Manager to run a Java Servlet that accepts uploaded mp3s and queues them for playback.

RefundWare from JADS Limited

A new revenue generating model is in operation for JScreenFix.

With the exception of a brief period of DonationWare, JScreenFix has been funded purely by advertising since 2006. As an attempt to increase profitability, JScreenFix has moved to a paid revenue model. Because the JScreenFix pixel fixing algorthm does not repair all pixel defects we decided to give the power of refunding to the customer. The automated refund button appears in the application and links directly to the Licence Payment Management System (LPM). Early results are promising and may lead to other Applications for JADS Limited being released as RefundWare.
